It is important to select the appropriate WULI main unit and flywheel to suit your axle, wheel and hub style. The alarm and remote are the same on all models. Your WULI agent can help you select a unit to suit your trailer or caravan or alternatively go to our page – What Wuli Fits.
It is recommended that your device is installed by a suitably qualified person such as a trailer manufacturer, trailer repairer or a licensed mechanic. Refer to the installation manual which provides comprehensive information about installing a Wuli.
The main unit is robust and is able to be submerged for short periods of time, however the alarm unit must not be submerged. Therefore, ensure you mount the alarm unit in a protected area to avoid emersion as well as stone, rock or debris damage.
Depending on the types of terrain you are taking the trailer over, it is possible the alarm may become damaged from stones or debri. To reduce this likelihood we have a cage that can be installed over the alarm to provide another layer of protection.
As Wuli is an anti theft device it is deliberately not easy to reset the pin. Should you forget your pin the unit must be sent back to us to be reset the device. Therefore it is really important you keep your pin stored in a safe place to avoid this inconvenience.
Yes. The instructions for changing both the user channel and PIN code are contained in the section entitled – Programming your remote control.
You sure can. Wuli has five channels, all you need to do is put each device on a separate channel. However, as it uses radio frequency technology you must make sure you programme each device well away from each other (200 metres is ideal). Once the personalised pin is set it will only talk to this device, so no one else can change the pin on your device once you have set your personalised pin. Refer to our Owner’s Manual for detailed instructions.
Good question and there is no simple answer. This will depend on how many devices are nearby. If you are at home with no other devices around you can activate from approximately 3 metres away. If it doesn’t activate just move a little closer.
Yes, you can use your caravan when activated. Wuli it is smart enough to only activate when it detects movement that would suggest the caravan is being moved to be connected to the tow ball. Every day movements will not activate your Wuli, so you can leave it activated as soon as you arrive at your destination.
Wuli has cutting edge technology that will allow your device to be activated and left for up to six months, providing it does not have multiple activations during this time.
Simply connect your trailer to the car, plug in the wiring harness and switch on the lights. If the batteries have gone completely flat, it will take approximately three hours to fully charge. A five-minute charge will be sufficient to get your device operational and it will continue to charge as your drive to your next destination.
From time to time you may forget to deactivate your Wuli. If this should happen, you can enter your personalised pin code and press UNLOCK to mute the alarm. Then just re lock if required.
An incorrect PIN has been entered
Your WULI has not been able to lock the vehicle. Try moving the vehicle forwards or backwards slightly until the light turns red.
